Information Wanted, Murder Suspects Sought in Shooting Death of 22 year-old victim, unincorporated Los Angeles
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide detectives are seeking the public’s assistance for information related to the murder of 22 year-old Kejon “Wayne” Atkins.
On Thursday, July 23, 2015, Mr. Atkins was standing on the sidewalk of the 1800 block of East 126th Street, when several shots were fired from a sedan, striking him in the head.
Two suspect vehicles, an older model, gold, four-door sedan, and a maroon Pontiac Aztec, possibly two toned with gray lower half, fled southbound onto Wilmington Avenue and then westbound onto El Segundo Boulevard.
Mr. Atkins was transported to a local hospital, but succumbed to his injuries on Monday, July 27, 2015, at approximately 2:22 PM.
The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors has approved a $10,000 reward for any information leading to a conviction of those person(s) responsible for the senseless murder of Mr. Atkins.
